Dorise was born and raised in New Orleans, La. where she earned B.S. degrees in Counseling and Nursing. She practiced as a Labor and Delivery nurse in the hospital setting then later transitioned to an outpatient clinic. Most recently, she has worked in Special Education in Florida where she lives with her family. In her free time she loves to travel and eat sushi.
